What to expect and how you’ll benefit
What Do You Want Your Audience to Know, Feel, and Do?
… and how does that strategically align with their needs?
I work remotely or in-person with presenters of all ages, industries, and levels of leadership and experience. My clients are global, including those for whom English is a second language (ESL). You can read about my services here.
You have influence. Is your goal to inform and educate your audience? Motivate or persuade them? Set them on fire with inspiration? Or perhaps a powerful combination of each? I’ll help you prepare and deliver your message so that your audience gets it, feels it, and supports it. (It’s why you present, and why they listen.)
When you call me, I’ll ask about your presentation objectives and challenges, your timeline and availability, the interests and needs of your audience, any background relevant to the topic, and whether you plan to speak from an outline, notes, script, or teleprompter (unless you have no scheduled presentation and want to improve your skills in general).
Engaging Content
Because the content informs every aspect of your presentation, let’s start early—in the outline or first draft stage—to ensure you’ve got a clear, strong premise or business case, a logical flow, fiercely fact-based arguments and data, compelling stories and examples, well planned visual aids, smooth transitions, and words with real impact.
Engaging Delivery
Whatever your presentation style, I’ll give you supportive feedback fortified with 30 years of effective delivery techniques to share with you as needed—so that you can feel the CONFIDENCE that comes with amplifying your strengths and eliminating anything that could harm your credibility or prevent you from bonding with your audience.
There’s no “perfect presenter.” Provided the message has value for them, audiences respond better to speaker authenticity than to flawless technique. What matters most—and what we’ll work together to ensure—is that you are clear, confident, conversational, in full command of your content and fully committed to it, and able to connect with your audience.
Trust is key in the coaching relationship. I share no details of our confidential sessions except with those, if any, whom you may designate as part of your success team.
It takes guts to stand in the spotlight, and preparation and skill to do it well. Let’s get to work and make your next presentation your best one yet!
